West Elms Studios
West Elms Studios was a former vacant office building in an area of London benefiting largely from a regeneration program including a new underground stop, Nine Elms. Many new build residential towers were being built as part of the Battersea Power Station redevelopment and the Nine Elms redevelopment including the award winning new American Embassy.
A vacant 1970s office building provided all the design challenges LPT relishes. Giving the building a new facade and floor to ceiling windows gave the building a completely new contemporary identity a-tuned to Battersea's buying demographic. Maximising all the potential from the building, LPT was able to build out on the top level of the building whilst excavating a large light well with garden and converting a previous basement carpark into further high quality residential accommodation in total creating 21 apartments.
Given it's industrial location, West Elms Studios sold extremely fast, with most properties reserved on the first day of viewings and at a surprisingly high value.
